Welcome to our new storefront!

We started off in 2006 as a small group led by Tibetan Buddhist master, Kyabgön Phakchok Rinpoche. Our aim is to make authentic Buddhist items that can benefit beings. Ten years on, we have now grown from one to over fifty products under the name Ratna Jewels. In conjunction with our tenth anniversary, we now have a new name – AKARA.

We maintain our original vision to produce genuine items to benefit beings. How do we do this? We produce items according to authentic traditions, supporting both spiritual practitioners and spiritual seekers. We help dedicated craftspeople who strive to preserve their culture while making a decent living. We generate merit for our customers by donating all profits from these products towards humanitarian causes.

With AKARA, we are expanding our product range from ritual practice items to artistic products; all meant to stimulate Buddhist inspiration in our daily lives. You can find traditional Buddhist practice items in AKARA Ritual and beautiful everyday home products in AKARA Artisan. With our Dharma Digest blog, you will be able to find articles to help you gain a deeper personal understanding of Buddha’s teachings.

We invite you to step into the world of AKARA……
