The blanket is to be worn around the shoulders with the double vajra positioned on one’s upper back and facing outwards behind the practitioner. The double vajra is a symbol of perfect stability in which the five Buddha families are represented: Akshobhya in the center surrounded by Vairochana, Ratnasambhava, Amitabha, and Amoghasiddhi in the four directions.
