This Kurukulle statue is made in accordance with the lineage of Chokgyur Lingpa. It is distinguished by the headdress and implements in the form of flowers, rather than the usual skulls. The statue is made of oxidized copper and consecrated with mantras and prayers by the senior monks of Ka-Nying Shedrub Ling Monastery.
Kurukulle, a female deity from the Lotus family, is renowned for radiating the blessings to magnetize positive circumstances, both mundane and spiritual. She is one of the 21 Taras, and is often portrayed as semi-wrathful, as red in color, as having four arms, and in a dancing pose.
